ISLAMABAD, Oct 24 (APP): The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday disposed off a petition regarding the holding of general elections across the country on same day after the case was withdrawn.
A three-member bench of the top court, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa, heard the case.
Petitioner’s lawyer Shahkhawar Advocate adopted the stance that they wanted to withdraw the case as the court had already taken up this matter.
The court subsequently disposed of the petition after the statement of the lawyer.
